CANCELLATION POLICY OF RETREAT BY EMMA OR TALALLA RETREAT CENTRE
Your health matters to us!
During these uncertain Covid-19 times, our focus is on the health and wellbeing of all; you matter to us!
In the unlikely event that Talalla Retreat is instructed by the Sri Lankan government to close and restrictions are once more put in place, a full refund will be provided.
In the event that you need to make a claim for either travel and/or medical expenses, you will need to contact your travel insurance provider.
This is considered each individual's own liability. It is the responsibility of each participant to book their flights and to find out about flight schedule changes and Covid-19 regulations relevant to their trip.
Please make sure you consider the different regulations according to your country of departure and view any transit countries (if you fly via another country ) and the regulations within Sri Lanka at the time of booking. This is the student’s responsibility.

Travel, medical & trip cancellation insurance is essential.
CANCELLATION OF ATTENDANCE BY STUDENT - NON-COVID RELATED
Once booked on your retreat, your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable unless we can fill your space.
The Balance is due 1st March 2025 – Refunds after this date will only be provided if we can fill your space.
CANCELLATION OF ATTENDANCE BY STUDENT - COVID RELATED
You may request a refund in the event of government-mandated restrictions on travel or a positive COVID test that results in a forced and involuntary inability to attend the retreat. A travel restriction is different from a choice not to travel and includes the following situations:
Positive COVID test (Doctor’s note required)
Travel restrictions on Sri Lanka at the time of the retreat
Travel restrictions on your country of flight origin at the time of the retreat
Proof (in English) of government-mandated restrictions and/or positive test results must be submitted with an emailed cancellation request.
Cancellation 30+ days - 100% will be refunded.
A cancellation will only be effective when written confirmation of the cancellation has been received by Emma and we have responded to you acknowledging the cancellation
